Set Up Home Theater in Your Apartment Or Condominium

After living in an apartment or condominium much of my life, I can say that the worst is that the neighbors complain about noise from your home theater or stereo. For purposes of this section, the term “apartment” includes cabins and “Home” will also include a stereo system to play audio CDs. Here are some tips I’ve learned over the years to minimize its leaking from the apartment caused neighbors to complain.

Before proceeding, unless you have a large sum of money, there is really no such thing as a soundproof room in an apartment. Yes, this can be done, but the cost will be through the roof. My advice is to give you is to try to minimize the amount of complaints with your neighbors. Some tips for simple common sense before you start. I would like to introduce you to all who live directly above or below you or to share a common wall with you, give them your phone number and just tell them in a friendly way, and if ever a problem with your sound system, just to give you a call. This way at least you were able to alleviate the problem internally, before climbing to a higher level. We try not to play loud music / movies before 11:00 and after 20:00, even though the buildings of the policy are 10.00 and 22.00, and the wireless headset to listen to 5.1, the Pioneer SE-DIR800C Dolby Digital 5.1 Wireless Headphones in other seasons.

The main problem is with the neighbors of your subwoofer. The simplest solution is to be in a ground floor apartment, so that fewer people in getting rid of your complaint. If this is not done, or what I would buy two Auralex Grammar Isolation Riser Mason and super pads “W” rubber. Grammar Isolation Riser is basically a platform to put your subwoofer to provide insulation and improve the tone of the subwoofer without artificial noise. In short, it helps to get rid of all arms of the subwoofer is not. Mason Super “W” rubber pads is a rubber mat square 2 “sections 3 / 4 inches high, separated by a thick cloth that you can use all the carpet and / or sections cut out to put the subwoofer. The way that I have my subwoofer set up the subwoofer is at the top of the riser insulation program is of Mason Super “W” Matt is on the floor mats I box the lower back about 14 to 16 years. “rear wall and side of the subwoofer for 14-16″ of the side wall. I have subwoofer set up for the isolation Riser is right on the grill on the edge of the riser. The width of the subwoofer is focused on the isolation Riser. I have taken a picture of one of my sites listed below.

Also recommended if you live in an apartment to try satellite speakers and a powerful receiver. I have an excellent Orb Audio Mod a 5.1-speaker and subwoofer set up like I think that playing loud without ear path-breaking volumes. I did receive the most powerful, most gentle, you can adjust the actual volume and the sound so loud for you, but not out stronger in the room.

Compared with the speakers, my advice to you is not to be attached to or against a wall, but a few inches long and as far from the ceiling and the floor can range from 28 “to 56″ or more from the soil from the bottom of the cabinet. Neither would the angle of the walls. You can also experiment and make them more cuts Mason “W” square sections.

Finally, just use some common sense. Keep windows closed when you play a home. The best time to take things very hard during the week 11:00 to 5:00, when people at work, and 12:00 to 17:00 on weekends. During playback of DVD movies to know that with shots and explosions tend to play higher and so films of Woody Allen and the volume of the corresponding! Good luck. You will still probably be complaints, but the amount should be reduced a little!
